<h1>Approval Committee Formed for Food Processing SEZ in Compliance with Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the food processing Special Economic Zone located in Chelembra Village, Thirurangadi Taluk, Malappuram District, Kerala. This committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs and Income Tax Commissioners, the Director of Banking, and officials from the Government of Kerala. A representative from the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, the developer, is also a special invitee.
