of <h1>Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ in Hinjawadi; Includes Key Officials and WIPRO Representative</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone (SEZ) located in Hinjawadi District, Pune, Maharashtra, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises several ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and Commissioners of Customs, Central Excise, and Income-tax, among others. A representative from the developer, M/s. WIPRO Limited, is included as a special invitee. This committee is tasked with overseeing the SEZ's operations and compliance with the Act.
