<h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT/IT-Enabled Services SEZ Under SEZ Act, 2005; Includes Key Government Representatives</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone (SEZ) located in Village Phursungi, Taluka Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra. This committee is formed under the authority of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee includes the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson and various ex-officio members, such as representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and the Government of Maharashtra. A representative from the developer, M/s. The Manjri Stud Farm Private Limited, is a special invitee.
