This committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, along with members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and representatives from the Government of Maharashtra. A representative from the developer, Navi Mumbai SEZ Private Limited, is a special invitee.
