of <h1>India Updates Customs Notification: New Port Inclusions and Exceptions Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 70/2008-Customs amending previous customs notifications 91/2004, 93/2004, and 94/2004. The amendments involve changes to conditions in these notifications. Specifically, references to 'Vadinar' have been updated to include 'Haldia (Haldia Dock Complex of Kolkata Port),' and 'Indore' has been updated to include 'Dabolim (Goa).' Additionally, in certain conditions, exceptions are made for units availing benefits of notifications 49/03-CE and 50/03-CE dated 10.6.03. These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
