        <h1>Inland Container Depot designation enables the Ilandhailkulam IT/ITES SEZ to be treated as an ICD under customs law.</h1> The Central Government, under powers of sub section (2) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, by notification, appoints the IT/ITES Special Economic Zone at Ilandhailkulam village, Madurai, by M/s. Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, to be deemed an Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, specifying its location in Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District.
