of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT & ITES SEZ in Tamil Nadu, Led by Development Commissioner</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on information technology and IT-enabled services in Sholinganallur and Perumbakkam Village, Tamil Nadu. This SEZ is developed by a state electronics corporation. The committee includes a Development Commissioner as Chairperson and members from various government departments, including Commerce, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and Tamil Nadu's Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau. The Secretary of Industries from the Tamil Nadu government and a representative from the developing corporation are also involved. In the Chairperson's absence, a Joint Development Commissioner will represent them.
