of <h1>Central Government Amends Excise Notification: Raw, Tanned, or Dressed Fur Skins Now Subject to Nil Rate, Section 5A Applies.</h1> The Central Government has issued amendments to Notification No. 06/2002-Central Excise, dated March 1, 2002, concerning raw, tanned, or dressed fur skins. As per Notification No. 51/2004-CE dated September 17, 2004, a new entry, S. No. 304, has been added to the notification's table. This entry specifies that raw, tanned, or dressed fur skins are subject to a nil rate under the First Schedule, with no conditions or rate specified under the Second Schedule. This amendment is made under the authority of Section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944.
