of <h1>Excise Duty Exemption for Unsweetened Concentrated Milk Added Under Notification No. 47/2004-Central Excise</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 06/2002-Central Excise, dated March 1, 2002, under the Central Excise Act, 1944, to include a new entry for concentrated milk not containing any sweetening matter. This amendment, made in the public interest, adds item 0401.14 to the notification table, specifying that such concentrated milk will now be exempt from excise duty. This change is documented in Notification No. 47/2004-Central Excise, dated September 9, 2004, and follows the last amendment made by Notification No. 45/2004-Central Excise, dated August 27, 2004.
