This SEZ is developed by a private company. The committee includes various ex-officio members: the Development Commissioner as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and Tamil Nadu's industrial promotion department, along with a special invitee from the developer company. The committee is constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005.
