This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s Palasar Asia Private Limited. The Commissioner will exercise the powers and duties of the Commissioner of Customs (Ports) for this purpose. The notification was issued under the Customs Act, 1962, and pertains to a notice dated November 6, 2007, from the Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Kolkata Zonal Unit.
