of <h1>Additional Commissioner Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for Aum Impex Case per Notification No. 17/2008-Customs (N.T.)</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 17/2008-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Additional or Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, as the common adjudicating authority. This authority is tasked with adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s Aum Impex, concerning a case initiated by the Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit. The adjudicating authority will exercise powers and duties originally assigned to the Deputy Commissioner of Customs at Inter Container Depot, Sachin, Surat.
