of <h1>Commissioner of Customs in Jaipur Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for M/s Jaipur Time Industries Case</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 16/2008-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Commissioner of Customs in Jaipur as the common adjudicating authority. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to M/s Jaipur Time Industries and others, as per a show cause notice dated June 19, 2007. The Commissioner will exercise powers and duties of the Commissioners of Customs in Patparganj, Delhi; Nhava Sheva, Raigad; and Ballard Estate, Mumbai, for this purpose. This notification is under the Customs Act, 1962.
