of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Brass Scrap to $4249/MT; Other Goods' Values Remain Unchanged Under Notification 6/2008-Customs</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 6/2008-CUSTOMS (N.T.) amending Notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.) dated 3rd August 2001. This amendment updates the tariff values for certain goods, including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. The tariff values for most items remain unchanged, except for brass scrap, which is set at $4249 per metric tonne. This notification is in accordance with the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962.
