of <h1>Amendment to Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009: SEZ Units Inclusion and DTA Supply Benefits in Para 3.10.2</h1> Notification No. 64 (RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated December 24, 2007, announces amendments to the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2004-2009. The amendment adds the phrase '(including SEZ units)' to Para 3.10.2 of the FTP, 2004-2009, and deletes 'or supplies made to such units' from Para 3.10.2.2 (b). Effective from April 1, 2006, Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units supplying goods to Special Economic Zone (SEZ) units are eligible for benefits under the Focus Product Scheme, provided payments are received in free foreign exchange. This amendment serves the public interest.
