of <h1>Changes to Export Rules: Groundnuts & Sesame Seeds Now Need Certifications for EU & Russia Shipments Under Policy 2004-2009</h1> The Central Government, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, has amended the ITC (HS) Classifications for export and import items. Effective immediately, changes are made to the export policy for groundnuts and sesame seeds. Groundnut exports to the EU require compulsory contract registration with APEDA and a controlled Aflatoxin level certificate. Exports to Russia need pre-shipment quality certification from specified laboratories. A new entry for groundnut of seed quality is added, with similar export requirements. Sesame seed exports to Russia also require pre-shipment quality certification from designated laboratories. These amendments aim to regulate export standards and ensure quality compliance.
