of <h1>Amendment to ITC(HS) Import Policy: Live Pig and Pig Products (Except Processed Bristles) Updated Under Foreign Trade Act</h1> The Central Government has amended the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items for 2004-2009 under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992. Specifically, item number (vii) in Condition 16 of Chapter 1 A of the Import Policy has been updated. The previous entry is replaced with 'live pig and pig products (except processed pig bristles).' This amendment, issued in the public interest, was formalized by the Director General of Foreign Trade, serving as an Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
