of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Taiwanese Potassium Carbonate for Price Violation; Effective May 9, 2007</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 37/2004-Customs to impose an anti-dumping duty on Potassium Carbonate exported by a Taiwanese corporation. This action follows a recommendation by the designated authority, which concluded that the corporation violated price undertaking conditions. The duty applies to all exports from this corporation at the same rate as other non-cooperative exporters from Taiwan. The amendment specifies that the duty is effective from May 9, 2007, and must be paid in Indian currency. The notification was initially published in February 2004 and has undergone previous amendments.
