of <h1>Jurisdictional Authority Shifted from Vadodara to Ahmedabad Under Central Excise Act Amendment, Notification No. 60/2002-CE.</h1> Notification No. 60/2002-CE, dated December 19, 2002, issued under the Central Excise Act, 1944, amends a previous notification (No. 39/2001-Central Excise) by changing the jurisdictional authority from the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Vadodara, to the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Ahmedabad. This change, made in the public interest, is part of a series of amendments to the original notification published on July 31, 2001, and last amended on September 2, 2002.
