of <h1>Nuclear Fuel Complex's excise duty exemption u/s 5A revoked by Notification No. 9/2017, effective July 1, 2017.</h1> Notification No. 130/94-CE, dated September 21, 1994, issued by the Central Government under section 5A of the Central Excises & Salt Act, 1944, exempts all goods and materials manufactured by the Nuclear Fuel Complex in Hyderabad from the entire excise duty specified in the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985. This exemption was deemed necessary in the public interest. However, this exemption was rescinded by Notification No. 9/2017-Central Excise, effective from July 1, 2017.
