This notification, issued on March 11, 2004, allows for tax-deductible donations specifically for the repair and renovation of the temple's Eastern Gopuram. The notification limits the total eligible donation amount to Rs. 71,85,250 and will remain effective until this amount is collected or until March 31, 2005, whichever comes first.
