of <h1>Sri Bramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamyvari Devasthanam Income Exempted from Tax for 2002-05 Under Section 10(23C)(v) Conditions Apply.</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification exempting any income received on behalf of Sri Bramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamyvari Devasthanam, Srisailam, District Kurnool, A.P, from being included in the total income for assessment years 2002-03 to 2004-05 under Section 10(23C)(v) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This exemption is subject to conditions: the income must be applied to the institution's objectives, investments must comply with specified modes, business income must be incidental and separately accounted, returns must be filed regularly, and assets must be transferred to a similar organization upon dissolution. This applies only to income received on behalf of the institution.
