of <h1>Government Updates Section 35 AC: New Projects Approved for Cancer Aid & Research Foundation with Revised Costs</h1> The Central Government, exercising its powers under section 35 AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has amended Notification number S.O. 1404 (E) dated September 4, 2006. The amendment pertains to the Cancer Aid & Research Foundation located in Mumbai. In the notification's table, under serial number 15, the entries for the project or scheme and estimated cost have been revised. The previous entries are replaced with new entries for a Cancer Hostel, Cancer Hospice, and Cancer Diagnostic Centre. This amendment is based on the recommendation of the National Committee.
