of <h1>Internal Combustion Engine Parts for Indian Railways Reconditioning Now Included in Excise Notification Amendment</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 62/95-Central Excise, dated March 16, 1995, concerning parts of internal combustion engines. This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 30/2005-CE dated July 5, 2005, adds a new entry to the existing table. It specifies that parts of internal combustion engines, if manufactured by a factory owned by Indian Railways and used for reconditioning railway locomotive engines, are included under this notification. The amendment is made under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Additional Duties of Excise Act, 1957, in the public interest.
