of <h1>Central Government Updates Project Description under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act, 1961 for Tax Benefits Eligibility.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification S.O.1013(E) dated 5th July 2006, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The amendment involves replacing the project description from 'land development, construction with amenities of buildings for school workshop, hostel and staff quarters at Kheda District, Mehmababad, Gujarat' by the National Association for the Blind, to 'Running of Polio Hospital, Rehabilitation and Research Centre at Hiran Magri, Sector-4, Udaipur, Rajasthan' by Narayan Seva Sansthan.
