of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Set Under Customs Act, 1962; Effective from September 1, 2007</h1> Notification No. 88/2007-Cus (N.T.), dated August 29, 2007, issued under the Customs Act, 1962, determines the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for imported goods. Effective from September 1, 2007, this notification supersedes Notification No. 75/2007-Cus (N.T.) dated July 26, 2007. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists the exchange rate for one unit of various currencies like the US Dollar (41.30 INR), Euro (56.55 INR), and others, while Schedule II provides the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen (35.60 INR).
