of <h1>Gangavaram Added to Authorized Ports for Import and Export as per Customs Act, 1962 Notification No. 85/2007</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 85/2007 (N.T.) to amend Notification No. 62/94 (NT) - Customs, originally dated November 21, 1994. This amendment, effective as of August 21, 2007, involves changes to the customs ports appointments for specified purposes. Specifically, it adds Gangavaram to the list of locations in Andhra Pradesh authorized for the unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods, or any class of such goods. This modification is published under the authority of the Central Board of Excise and Customs, as per the Customs Act, 1962.
