of <h1>Central Government Amends Excise Notification: Removes Condition (I), Updates Conditions (ii) & (iii) for Public Welfare</h1> The Central Government, under the Central Excise Act, 1944, has amended Notification No. 8/99-Central Excise dated February 28, 1999, in the interest of public welfare. The modifications include the removal of condition (I) and related illustrations, changes to condition (ii) by substituting specific wording, and the omission of illustrations I and II related to condition (ii). Additionally, references in condition (iii) have been updated to reflect these changes. These amendments were officially documented in Notification No. 16/99 dated March 31, 1999.
