of <h1>India Amends Customs Notifications: Nil Duty for Electronic Integrated Circuits and S.No. 316B Entry Substituted.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 93/2007-Customs on August 8, 2007, amending two previous notifications: No. 21/2002-Customs and No. 20/2006-Customs. The amendment to Notification No. 21/2002-Customs involves substituting the entry against S.No. 316B with 'Nil.' For Notification No. 20/2006-Customs, a new entry, S.No. 65, is added, specifying 'Electronic integrated circuits' with a duty rate of 'Nil.' These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
