of <h1>India Amends Tariff Notification: Updated Values for Customs Act 1962; No Change for Key Oils, Metals</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Central Board of Excise and Customs, has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) from August 3, 2001. This amendment substitutes TABLE-1 and TABLE-2 with updated tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The tariff values for items such as Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, Poppy Seeds, Gold, and Silver remain unchanged. The notification aims to regulate the customs tariff values for these goods, effective as of April 17, 2013.
