of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Nokia SEZ Under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 with Key Government Officials Involved.</h1> The Government of India has constituted an Approval Committee for the Nokia Special Economic Zone under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the MEPZ Special Economic Zone as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, the Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise, the Commissioner of Income-Tax, and officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, a representative from Nokia India Private Limited, the developer of the SEZ, is a special invitee.
