of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for Manikanchan SEZ under SEZ Act 2005 with Key Officials and Representatives.</h1> The Central Government of India has established an Approval Committee for the Manikanchan Special Economic Zone located in Salt Lake, Kolkata, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the Falta Special Economic Zone as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, the Commissioner of Customs, the Commissioner of Income-Tax, and the Director of Banking from the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of West Bengal and a representative from the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Limited are included.
