of <h1>Government Forms Approval Committee for Mahindra World City SEZ in Apparel Sector under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government of India has established an Approval Committee for the Mahindra World City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on Apparel and Fashion Accessories, as per the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of MEPZ SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and officials from the Central Excise, Income Tax, and Banking sectors. Additionally, a representative from the Mahindra World City Developers Limited is a special invitee. In the Development Commissioner's absence, a Joint Development Commissioner will represent him.
