of <h1>India Notifies SEZ in Hyderabad for IT and IT-Enabled Services, Covering 20.59 Hectares, Effective December 2006</h1> The Government of India has notified a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Gachibowli, Rajendra Nagar Taluk, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, covering 20.59 hectares. This notification, dated December 5, 2006, follows the approval granted on June 27, 2006, to a company for establishing an SEZ for IT and IT-enabled services. The area is bounded by Kothaguda Village Reserve Forest to the north, Old Mumbai Highway to the south, a non-SEZ zone and road to the east, and the Indian Immunological Limited Vaccine Plant Complex to the west.
