of <h1>Organic Solvent and Coal Tar Removed from Delhi VAT Fourth Schedule; Coal Tar Tax Reduced to 4% per Third Schedule.</h1> The Fourth Schedule of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, has been amended by omitting organic solvent (entry 1(vii)) and coal tar (entry 1(viii)) from the list, where they were previously taxed at 20% from April 1, 2005, to May 10, 2005. Coal tar is now included in the Third Schedule at entry number 100, reducing its tax rate to 4% effective May 11, 2005. This change was enacted by the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, as per the powers conferred by section 103 of the Act.
