of <h1>Delhi VAT Act Amended: Kirana Items, School Bags, Plastic Granules Added; Entries 30 & 45 Removed from Schedule.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has amended the Third Schedule of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, effective from April 1, 2005. The amendments involve the removal of entries at Serial Numbers 30 and 45 and the addition of new entries after Serial Number 80. These new entries include various kirana items, school bags with a maximum retail price of up to Rs. 300, and plastic granules. The changes are made under the authority of the Lt. Governor in the interest of the general public.
