Supplies in DTA against foreign exchange remittance now expressly recognised under the Foreign Trade Policy amendment. The Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 is amended by adding sub paragraph 6.9(b) to expressly recognise supplies effected in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) against foreign exchange remittance received from overseas, providing a specific policy basis for treating such inbound funded DTA transactions within the FTP framework.
