of <h1>Condition No. 18 on Import Policy Suspended Until July 7, 2006, Under Foreign Trade Act and Policy 2004-09.</h1> Condition No. 18 in Chapter 1A of the General Notes regarding the Import Policy, initially notified on April 7, 2006, is suspended until July 7, 2006. This amendment is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The change affects Schedule I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 2004-09. The decision is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
