of <h1>Amendment to ITC (HS) Classification: Changes in Export-Import Codes for Edible Vegetables and Onions</h1> The Central Government has amended Chapter 7 of the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2004-2009, concerning edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers. Specifically, Tariff Item HS Code Nos. '07108090' and '07119090' have been deleted, and a reference to Notification No.20 dated 8.10.2003 has been removed. The item description for onions has been revised to include all varieties, such as Bangalore rose and Krishnapuram onions, in various forms except when cut, sliced, or in powder form. These changes are made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992.
