of <h1>De-oiled Rice Bran Now Freely Exportable: Amendment to ITC(HS) Classifications Retroactive from September 1, 2004</h1> The Central Government, under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, has amended the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 2004-2009 to make 'De-oiled Rice Bran' freely exportable. The amendment involves deleting the H.S. Code No. 23022010 from Chapter 23, which pertains to 'Residues and Waste from the Food Industries, Prepared Animal Fodder' in Schedule-2, Export Policy. This change is effective retrospectively from September 1, 2004, and is issued in the public interest.
