of <h1>Amendment to ITC(HS) Classifications: Serial No. 2 under 'Goods Falling in More Than One Chapter' deleted. Effective Jan 1, 2005.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, has amended the Table A of Schedule 2 of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 2004-2009. Specifically, the entry at Serial No. 2 under the heading 'Goods Falling in More than One Chapter of ITC (HS) Classification' is to be deleted effective January 1, 2005. This amendment is issued in the public interest and is authorized by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
