of <h1>India Sets Duty Drawback Rate for Furnace Oil at Rs. 780/MT for Exports Until May 31, 2001</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce, has issued Notification No. 19, dated June 5, 2000, under the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002. This notification, effective until May 31, 2001, sets the All Industry Rate of Duty Drawback for furnace oil at Rs. 780 per metric ton. The rate applies specifically to supplies by domestic oil companies to 100% Export Oriented Units and units in Export Processing Zones, classified as deemed exports according to chapter 10 of the Export-Import Policy 1997-2002. This measure is issued in the public interest.
