of <h1>Export Promotion Councils Can Now Join Trade Fairs Without Ministry Approval, Streamlining Foreign Trade Participation</h1> The Central Government has amended the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992. The amendment specifies that Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) are no longer required to obtain approval from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) for participating in trade fairs, exhibitions, or for sending sales teams and delegations abroad. This change is intended to streamline processes and is issued in the public interest by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
