of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009 Updated with Annual Supplement Effective April 1, 2007, Serving Public Interest</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, announcing the updated Foreign Trade Policy for 2004-2009, which includes the Annual Supplement as of April 19, 2007. This updated policy is effective from April 1, 2007, and is intended to serve the public interest. The notification was issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, who also holds the position of Ex Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
