of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy amended: Import restrictions now apply to all licenses, including those issued before the notification date.</h1> The Central Government has amended Paragraph 3 of Notification No. 15(RE-2006)/2004-2009, effective immediately, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The amendment involves the deletion of the words 'and shall not apply to imports already effected against Advance Licences/Authorizations issued prior to the date of issue of this Notification.' This change is made under the authority of Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
