of <h1>Export of Niger Seeds Now Canalised Through TRIFED Under Notification No. 20(RE-99)/1997-2002, as per DGFT Directions.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce, has amended the ITC (HS) classifications for the export of Niger Seeds under Notification No. 20(RE-99)/1997-2002, dated July 9, 1999. The amendment specifies that the export of Niger Seeds, under Code No. 1207, is now canalised, meaning it will be conducted exclusively through the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) as per directions from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). This change is enacted under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and is issued in the public interest.
