The amendment pertains to the export of Bangalore Rose onions, which has been canalized. The export is to be conducted through Karnataka State Agricultural Produce Processing and Export Corporation Ltd (KAPPEC Ltd) with a limit of 5,000 metric tons per month for two months, up to September 7, 1999. This decision is made in the public interest.
