of <h1>All Central Silk Board branches designated as Silk Grade Certification Agencies under Foreign Trade Policy 1997-2002.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce, has designated all branches of the Central Silk Board as Silk Grade Certification Agencies under the Foreign Trade Policy 1997-2002. This amendment, effective from May 19, 1999, modifies a previous notification to include all provincial branches. The change is enacted under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and aims to standardize silk import certification across all branches. The notification is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
