of <h1>Commissioner of Customs appointed to adjudicate DRI cases from 2006 Show Cause Notice under CBEC authority.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has appointed the Commissioner of Customs (Imports) at the Air Cargo Complex in New Delhi as the adjudicating authority for certain Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) cases. This appointment authorizes the Commissioner to exercise powers and perform duties of the Commissioners of Customs at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai and Jawahar Customs House, Nhava Sheva. The adjudication pertains to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others, dated November 7, 2006, by the Additional Director General of the DRI.
