of <h1>Central Government Issues Notification Under Section 11-I, Customs Act to Curb Illegal Acetic Anhydride Exports</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification under Section 11-I of the Customs Act, 1962, to address the illegal export of Acetic Anhydride across the Indo-Burma and Indo-Pakistan borders. This measure supersedes a previous notification from December 1988. The government aims to implement special measures to curb illegal exports and enhance detection efforts. These measures will be enforced along the Indo-Pakistan border in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir, and the Indo-Burma border, as per earlier notifications from March 1980, May 1986, and April 1988.
